Cocker Spaniel Watering Wand
Made using ½ inch galvanized steel pipe nipple 3 feet
long, brass ball valve and necessary parts to attach to garden hose (pipe
nipples are threaded on both ends)
This watering wand can also be reproduced with plastic components. Although
plastic will be lighter and cheaper, it will not last nearly as long.
Made of plastic, this watering wand will deteriorate when exposed to
sun light and become brittle in the cool months and will not stand up to
foot traffic or being run over by garden tractors or other such equipment
(not to mention the destructiveness and hazards of chewing) |
| This Watering Wand although originally designed for watering dogs,
could also be used in a garden or around the yard. By simply purchasing
a 'female ½ inch pipe to male garden hose connection' and screwing
it to the end of the wand. This would allow the use of garden hose attachments,
such as watering fans, hose nozzles, etc. |
