IN MEMORIAM

I am writing in memory of my first Cocker Spaniel  "Alex", or his registered name, Sir Alexander Edwards., he was my first dog, I could truely call my own. He was given to me by a coworker, that, neglected
him out of frustration.  It took many trying days and nights, but, he became a special member of the family, and we were lucky enough to have
him for 13 years.  He was always the "Momma's" dog from the beginning, and a faithful companion and friend.  Even as we made the final trip to the Vets, my good friend was supporting us, and Dr.Lewis treated him as her own.
I held him in my arms, with his little tail wagging, and he sighed quietly, and slipped away.  He was truely my best friend, and I do believe he was reincarnated in my little Cocker Nicky, who is a repeat of Alex.  I will never forget my Alex, as long as I live.  The Momma 'til next time, Debbie
