IN MEMORIAM

Corky came into my life in sept.1985 and departed May 13, 2002. His
official reg. name was "Cherry Blossom Boy"-he had to follow in the great
tradition of fruit blossoms. He was the sweetest, most patient companion
I ever knew. He was buff and some- what large for a cocker. He loved
his food as most cockers do, and had to inspect all of the grocery bags
that came into the house. If I put the groceries away without this
inspection, he would just go and examine them in the refrigerator instead. He
followed me everywhere , even near the end of his days when he could barely
get enough breath to walk. He was also a great psychiatrist-as he would
always listen to my troubles without advice-just unconditional love and
acceptance. My greatest respect and admiration goes to Dr. Heidi Jahn for
giving Corky 4 more months of decent health, to allow us to be together
just a little bit longer. Corky also had been afflicted with an autoimmune-type
problem-anemia and low platelet count. Prednisolone brought this
under control, but, he also had developed congestive heart failure.
Given everything his flesh became weak, but, his spirit was always more
than willing. Corky-I know, without question, that I will meet you at Rainbow
Bridge -now you are the healthy, happy, generous of love and spirit, creature
that God gave me to take care of for a short time. Thank you so much
for coming into my life- I will never forget you-my sweet boy! Love,
Lynn McClellan
