Charleston, WV
Makena is buried on a "holler" hillside covered with trees, ferns
and wild violets. Frequent visitors are bright red cardinals, deer
and rabbits.
Her favorite wading stream flows below. I was lucky to have shared
11 years of walking with Makena. She gave me so much love and I have
many happy memories. She will always be a sweet song
in my heart.
