Milano
For Milano:
In memory of my sweet, precious chocolate cocker spaniel boy, Milano, who
died unexpectedly at the early age of 3 1/2 years old on 02/18/2000, while
under anesthesia during a routine teeth cleaning. Remember
my little chocolate shortcake, that we loved you immensely, and no baby
can every take your place.
I miss you terribly my sweet baby boy, for the way you always rode with
Daddy in the front seat of the car, and the way you would relentlessly
roll your toy balls under the couch and whine like a baby until Daddy got
them back out for you. I miss your steadfast habit of
rising at the crack of
dawn, whether it be during the weekdays or not, and giving little kisses
to let me know you expect your puppy chow at 6am every day.
Dear Milano, your Mom has still not stopped crying, and we both have
begun a search for a new vet for your remaining adopted brother, "Foster".
And we are also filing a report with the State of Texas Veterinary board
so your passing will not go unchallenged.
We miss you terribly, and wish we could turn back time and have you
with us.
Your adopted baby brother Foster, who joined us from the Humane Society,
also misses you deeply. You always played so sweetly and gently
with your wild looking Australian Cattle Dog brother, and he loved you
every minute.
Thinking of you every day Milano, with love and devotion................just
as you gave us every day of your sweet, precious little life,
Wade and Pal Russell (Your Daddy and Momma)
